Alex Carr is a watercolor artist in rural Loudoun County, Virginia. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Wellesley College. Alex's paintings have been sold in galleries from Colorado to New Mexico to Virginia. Her primary studio is in Philomont, VA where she offers private and semi-private art lessons as well as watercolor workshops.
Alex is the Artist in Residence at Sunset Hills Vineyard in Purcellville, Virginia. She keeps a second working studio at the winery art gallery where her paintings are on display and available for purchase. In the warmer months Alex will be offering "plein air" workshops in the vineyard. Wine tasting included!
